For one weekend every year, the smallest town in whiskey transforms into the biggest scene for barbecue and brew. You might not know it, but each year more than 40,000 folks travel to our small town in Tennessee to enjoy watching barbecue teams from around the world compete in The Jack Daniel’s World Championship Invitational Barbecue, a true celebration of brew and BBQ.
This year's BBQ & Brew Festival is not only an Official Qualifier for the Jack Daniel's World Championships and the 1st leg of the New England Triple Crown, but you also have the chance to be an Official Judge for this exciting brew and bbq event. Teams are traveling from all over the country to compete in this year's barbecue and brew festival for a chance to secure an invitation to the prestigious Jack Daniel's World Championship and vie for $10,000 in prize money. This is a BYOP ($1500) prize purse, contingent on having 18 teams or more. If fewer than 18 teams enter, payouts will be adjusted according to the number of entries.
Gates open at 12 noon, with the tournament kicking off at 1 P.M. The tournament entry fee covers your admission into the festival, where you can enjoy some delicious barbecue and brew.
Come out to compete for a big prize purse, savor some great BBQ food, and have fun with Catamount Cornhole.
The tournament format consists of 4 rounds of rounders leading into a double elimination bracket.
Additionally, there will be boards set up for a fun social switcholio tournament, which will be listed separately. Join us for an exciting day of brew & BBQ!
